Founder/Dentist

Dr. Alexandra Coleman was born and raised in Alpharetta, Georgia. She graduated in 2012 from Georgia College and State University where she majored in Biological Sciences and minored in Chemistry. 

From Atlanta, Dr. Coleman moved to Horse Country, Lexington, Kentucky, where she completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree at the University of Kentucky. Go Cats! She spent an additional year continuing her education in an Endodontic Fellowship program where she gained experience in treating complex endodontic cases.

In her spare time, Dr. Coleman enjoys traveling (but not by car), complaining about the days OrangeTheory workout, and finding new local restaurants around town. Her favorite spot to vacation is Venice, Florida (Italy, too) where she has gone every year since she was born.

Dental Hygienist

Candice is an Alpharetta native! She attended Milton High School and The University of Tennessee. She graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Dental Hygiene from The Medical College of Georgia in 2003. Candice has been practicing dental hygiene for over twenty years. She is an active participant in her professional organization and has served as a past president of the Atlanta Dental Hygienists Association and a Legislative Chair for the Georgia Dental Hygienists Association. 

Candice loves spending time with her husband and two children. She is busy with a plethora of kid activities, loves watching and attending football games, saving animals, brunch with girlfriends, and traveling whenever possible! 

Candice has been working at The Smile Studio for over three years now and has loved the opportunity to work in such an amazing practice with an incredible team! 

Dental Hygienist

Abigail has been an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant since 2012. She previously worked with our hygienist Candice at an office in Buckhead, but has been with our team since January 2025. Fun fact, she assisted in her first procedure, an emergency root canal on her dad, when she was only 13! 

In her spare time, Abigail enjoys strength training, yoga, reading, sewing, and being a dance mom to her two busy daughters. They are in ballet, tap, jazz, acro, and contemporary style dance! A performer herself, she also occasionally picks up acting jobs and is a member of the Atlanta Immersion Theatre Murder Mystery improv troupe!

Abigail is excited to bring her knowledge, skills, and positive energy to your next dental procedure! 

Receptionist

Daisy was born and raised in South Georgia. She’s an adventurous individual always chasing her next great adventure — whether it’s hopping on a plane, whipping up something delicious in the kitchen, or saying ‘yes’ to a brand-new experience. Daisy views life as “too short to stay in one place (or eat the same meal twice)!” Fuels her life with fast cars, far-off places, bold flavors, and big ideas! 

Her passion for the dental field began in early 2018. She tried other fields such as dental assisting, however found it much more comforting working in the front where she specialized in dental claims and treatment planning/ scheduling. She truly enjoys building relationships with her patients and assisting them with any financial questions or challenges they may face. She joined The Smile Studio Family back in October 2024 and has been here ever since!
